I absolutely love an overnight oatmeal recipe that my kids and I can eat on busy mornings. It’s so much healthier than pop tarts.

I love the hint of orange flavoring in this oatmeal. It makes it very refreshing. The almonds do not get soggy either.
Recipe for overnight oatmeal
Ingredients
- 4 c of oatmeal, uncooked
- 1/3 c of almonds, silvered
- 3/4 c of dried cranberries
- 1/4 t of sea salt
- 1 1/2 c of orange juice
- 1 c of water
- 1/4 c of honey or other sweetener
Directions
Combine oats, almonds, cranberries, and salt together in a medium bowl. Next add the orange juice, water, and honey to oats. Stir well. Refrigerate, covered, overnight. Serve cold, or heat it up in microwave.
Serves 6-8
I leave it in the refrigerator for a few days. It keeps well.
