It’s Friday again. I have grown to love The blogging world on Fridays. I have laughed, cried, and emphasized with many genuine ladies sharing their hearts at Gypsy Mama.
I am to share my thoughts about the word, ORDINARY.
Start.
Many people tend to think of our family as anything but ordinary since we have a large family. And to top if off, we are homeschoolers, but of course not the weird ones. Just the ordinary ones. lol!
Daddy works from home. This entitles us to eat together as a family for all 3 meals each day. This is truly a blessing in our home. This is not the norm in society today, but it is nothing out of the ordinary for the Craft family.
We discourage our children from spending hours and hours watching TV and playing video games. Playing outside, playing games or working on an art project is nothing out of the ordinary for the Craft Family.
My dh and I are very selective on reading material, internet leisure, and DVD’s our children partake in. Family movie night or read a louds are nothing out of the ordinary for the Craft Family.
Spending time together as a family every day is nothing out of the ordinary for the Craft Family. I am so thankful for our ordinary life together. I’m learning to treasure the numerous blessings of the ordinariness of the Craft Family.
We’ve been know as the Crazy Crafts, but never as ordinary.
Stop!
Now hop on over to Gypsy Mama to see what is ordinary in other bloggers neck of the woods.
Your “ordinary” life sounds absolutely wonderful! Visiting from Gypsy Mama, btw. I love finding new blogs to enjoy on Five Minute Fridays, too. My Google Reader is getting so full. 🙂
Hi Jill – thank you for visiting and commenting on my blog, I so appreciate it and am very blessed by it. I am so glad I came back over to visit yours. I love everyone’s take on one word and all the different views so many will have. I love how, for you, so many blessed things are ordinary, the usual. What you have is extraordinary in today’s world.
God bless
Tracy
