This week at WFMW the theme is 5 ingredients or less… This will be blessing to so many since the food prices are outrageous!
Chicken Stroganuf
Frozen chicken breasts
16 oz of sour Cream ( I use fat free)
1 lipton noodle soup mix
Place chicken on bottom of crock pot. Next, place sour cream and soup mix on top of frozen chicken. Cook on high for 1 hour, turn to low and cook about 4-5 hours. Serve over noodles. Yummy!
Easy Fiesta Dip
16oz sour cream ( I use light or fat free)
1c of salsa
1 pkg of dry ranch dressing
Mix all together. Chill. Serve with tortilla chips or veggies.
Easy Apple Crisp ( I always double for my large family)
1 can of apple pie filling
a little sugar
cinnamon
white cake mix
1/2 stick of butter
Place apples in bottom of dish, sprinkle sugar and cinnamon to taste on top, pour 1/2 of cake mix on top, and slice butter and place on top of cake mix. Bake at 400 until golden brown on top. Serve with cool whip or ice cream. Note: You can use any fruit pie filling, but I would omit the sugar and cinnamon.
Easy Apple Dip
jar of marshmellow cream
block of cream cheese ( I use light)
cinnamon to taste
Place in sauce in pan on stove, whip on med heat being carefully not burn. Serve either cold or warm with apples. I usually prepare ahead of time and place in refrigerator and slice the apples. I put apples in a large zip lock bag with lemon juice to avoid apples turning brown.
That apple dip sounds amazing! Marshmellows and cream cheese?? Be still my beating heart!
Thanks for the recipes, Jill! I will have to try the chicken stroganoff this week. We love stroganoff and I have a lot of chicken to use up so this will definitely work in my menu plan! Thanks again!
Have a great 4th of July!
Blessings,
Julie
