How to make playdo for Valentine’s is super EASY!
My children have been having a blast with this homemade playdo recipe. They have been making Valentine’s cookies and playing store. And the best part is that it stores nicely in a ziplock bag and it’s much less expensive than the original playdo you buy at the store. It smells delightful.
How to Make Playdo
- 2 cups of Water
- 2 cups of Flour
- 1 cup of salt
- 4 T of Cream of Tarter
- 2 T of Canola or Vegetable Oil
- Vanilla Extract (the more you put in, the better is smells)
- Food Coloring (optional)
Place all ingredients except vanilla and food coloring in a medium sauce pan. Heat on medium until mixture congeals by folding the dough in pan. Once congealed into a dough substance, fold in the food coloring and vanilla until mix throughly. Place playdo on wax paper to cool. Knead until proper consistency.
