I still can’t comprehend how expensive play doh is at the stores. And I absolutely detest the off brands that seems to act like wet clay instead of a dough sort of concoction.
How to Make Playdo for St. Patrick’s Day
- 2 cups of Water
- 2 cups of Flour
- 1 cup of salt
- 4 T of Cream of Tarter
- 2 T of Canola or Vegetable Oil
- Mint Extract (the more you put in, the better is smells)
- Green Food Coloring (optional)
- green glitter (optional)
Place all ingredients except mint, glitter and food coloring in a medium sauce pan. Heat on medium until mixture congeals by folding the dough in pan. Once congealed into a dough substance, fold in the food coloring and vanilla until mix throughly. Place playdo on wax paper to cool. Knead until proper consistency.
