Assignment: Although I am not able to produce miracles, it sometimes feels like I need to when it comes to meal time. There are times when money is tight, groceries are few and I have to feed my family. During the holiday season, you might have so much going on that you need to make a meal quickly with as few ingredients as possible. This week post your favorite recipes that require six (6) ingredients or less. Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
Mock King Ranch Chicken
Frozen Chicken Breast
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
1 can of rotel
Cook on low all day in crock pot
Serve over tortilla chips and sprinkle with shredded cheddar.
This taste just like King Ranch Chicken. This is also great to serve with a lot of guests. Just implement the amount of ingredients to serve your guests.
BTW ~ I have be known to throw veggies in the pot that I have on hand. Corn or hominy is always a favorite amongst my boys.

This sounds delicious! I have actually not heard of King Ranch Chicken!
When we cook with soups, we make our own and the same with salsa, so this looks really easy to make ourselves.

I’m with Jacque — I’ve never heard of King Ranch Chicken, but this sounds YUMMY!!!
I’m sure I could adapt this recipe to work with “ingredients on hand”. Thanks for sharing!! Have a great week!
I have heard of King Ranch Chicken, but have never tried it! I think I might have to, now!! 🙂 Thanks for sharing.
That sounds yummy! Another “gotta try” recipe!! Thanks. 🙂
Oh that sounds good!! I copied that one to try sometime. Rotel was a featured ingredient in my recipe too – what a great timesaver. 8~)
