I thought my children could practice writing one letter per week until they have mastered the art of letter friendly writing.

I will let them pick and choose who they would like to address and write the letter to.  It could be someone they know or a fictional character.

This will be good time to talk about the abbreviations of:

• Street, Road, Lane, Drive
• Mr., Mrs., Ms, Dr.
• State abbreviations
