There is something snazzy about finding delicious cheese ball recipes that you know will always be a hit at a party. You know the ones that you have memorized in the back of your mind because at least one or two people will always ask you for the recipe before the night is over.

This is my favorite cheese ball recipe on the planet and it’s so very simple. You can even dress it up with a flower or something festive for any occasion. Around Christmas time, I put a fake poinsettia flower in the cheese ball on the side that I buy at the dollar store. 

How to Make the Best Cheese Ball Recipe

Ingredients

• 8 oz of cream cheese
• 1 stick of butter
• 4 oz of blue cheese, crumbled
• 1/2 c of black olives, chopped
• 1/2 c of pecans, chopped

Directions

Let cream cheese and butter sit out at room temperature. Mix throughly all ingredients except pecans. Form into a ball and place in the refrigerator overnight. Take the cheese ball and roll in the pecans.

It serves 20 (it makes plenty)

I am not a fan of black olives, but I adore this cheese ball. It doesn’t seem to have a strong taste of blue cheese either. It’s just simply divine.
