These easy grasshopper bars are so tasty and are perfect for any occasion. However, we always make them around St. Patrick’s Day because they are such a pretty green.
How to Make EASY Grasshopper Bars
Bar Ingredients
- 1 Double Chocolate Chunk Cookie Mix
- 1/3 c of oil
- 2 T of water
- 1 egg
Green Frosting Ingredients
- 3 c of powdered sugar
- 1 block of cream cheese, softened
- 1 stick of butter, softened
- 2 T of milk
- 1/2 t of mint extract
- 4-5 drops of green food coloring
Chocolate Glaze Ingredients
- 1 oz unsweetened bakers chocolate
- 1 t of butter
Directions
Spray 13×9 baking pan with cooking spray. Mix bar ingredients well in large bowl. Place in baking pan and bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool for 15 minutes. Mix frosting ingredients and smooth over bars. Mix glaze ingredients in small bowl and microwave for 30 seconds. Drizzle over easy grasshopper bars. Refrigerate for 1 hour before cutting bars.
Store in refrigerator.
They are very sweet and rich, so you can cut into smaller squares.
