Sunflowers just make you smile, don’t they? I have always loved sunflowers. And, of course, I love sunflower seeds. I have many memories sitting at the soccer or baseball field watching my brothers play as I sat and ate sunflower seeds. I think sunflower seeds and summer just go together! So when I saw this clipart, I decided to create these fun little Readers to help my kids learn all about the Life Cycle of a Sunflower.
Emergent Readers Set Includes:
- 4 different leveled readers
- Available in Black & White or Color
- Simple words
- Short sentences
- Tracing words in the sentences
- Fill-in-the-blank
While these are not “technically” Emergent Readers, I think they do a great job of adding a little difficulty with each level. You could do one reader a day as you work through an insect unit or just do the one relative to your child. Either way – they should be great fun!

This is beyond perfect to reach the needs of ALL my kids in my k-5 special ed classroom! Thank you for such a great resource and allowing it to be free!
