Making spaghetti tacos for my gang is one way I manage to maintain the semi-cool mom status. My kids love them. I have to admit, they are much tastier than what I imagined.
Ok, I kinda like them. Shhh!
I really want to be one of those cool moms, but I fail most times. Being a single, homeschool, work at home mom seems to keep me a little busy, but these spaghetti tacos are just something super easy that I can throw together. I usually just brown the meat in the morning and throw it in my slow cooker with the spaghetti sauce on low. Right before supper time, I just have to boil the pasta and heat up the taco shells.
Oh so easy and FUN!
How To Make Spaghetti Tacos
Ingredients
- 1 lb of ground beef, ground turkey, or Italian sausage, browned
- 1 lb of angel hair pasta
- 1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
- Hard taco shells
- Parmesan Cheese
- Cheddar Cheese
- Cilantro as garnish, optional
Directions
Simple brown the meat, drain, and mix with the spaghetti sauce. Prepare according to directions. Boil pasta. Mix the sauce and pasta together. Serve in warm taco shells and top them off with the cheeses.. Garnish with onions, sour cream, and cilantro if desired. God forbid if I added that to my kids tacos. I wouldn’t be cool anymore.
Here’s another cool mom dinner I make on occasion.
So when do you plan on joining the cool mom club with me and make these fun spaghetti tacos?
A friend just shared this recipe…. with other “single moms”… and I was sad to read that you have joined our “group”. Praying for you and your family, Jill. (((HUGS))) ~ Jen Grice
I showed this to my kids and they both said it looked soooo good and I have to make it for them! Thanks for this, hopefully I can add this to my simple meals menu!! Praying for you and your family!
Thank you, Cherie. Enjoy!
