In honor of Shark Week, we are learning about the different types of sharks. We are actually celebrating a week early because my children will be at their dad’s next week.
Shark Week couldn’t have come at a better time this year due to all the shark’s attacks in the last month. I don’t know about you, but I will not be surfing anytime soon.
We are learning about the 10 common sharks with these creative Shark Notebook Pages this week.
Of course, it’s always more FUN to learn about something when there is a treat involved, right?
My kids just thought these simple shark jello treats were the coolest, especially with the red sugar sprinkles. However, if the blood is a bit too graphic for your gang, just skip the sprinkles.
How to Make Shark Jello Treats
Ingredients
- 1 box of berry blue jello
- 1 pkg of shark gummies (I bought them at Walmart in the candy aisle)
- Whipped Cream
- Red Sugar Crystals
- Clear plastic cups
Directions
Prepare 1/2 of the jello according to the package. Pour jello 1/4 of the way full in cup. Let jello set in the refrigerator. Place one shark on top of jello in each cup. Prepare the rest of the jello according to the package. Let set for an hour or until firm. Top with whipped cream and red crystal sprinkles. Last place a shark on top of the whipped cream. Refrigerate before serving.
Makes 4 shark jello treats.
We all think sharks are cool predators in our home, so we go all out during Shark Week.
Thanks for sharing this simple shark jello treat recipes with others to enjoy! Happy Shark Week!
