With our busy schedules, especially during routine, back-to -school checkups, we need the most reliable and effective care available.

This was exciting news to me because I used to work in long-term care and we were required to take a TB skin test. I remember a few employees ended up with false positive results. Typically, if you are infected with TB, a raised lump will develop at the site where the tuberculin was injected when using the TB skin test method. The skin test requires the patient a second visit to the doctor’s office for test result readings.

A bit inconvenient, huh?
