This is a sponsored post on behalf of Torch. All opinions are 100% my very own.
The Internet is a wide world filled with learning opportunities, especially for homeschool families.
We can go on virtual field trips anytime we desire in our pajamas without leaving our homes.
I believe that access to the Internet is an important reason many families are able to homeschool so effectively.
It’s truly amazing and convenient.
But, there is an enemy out there just waiting to suck our poor little children’s minds into evil as quickly as possible.
I guess it’s like any other thing in life…along with good, there is also bad.
However, we do not have to allow the enemy to win and corrupt our children’s minds.
Many moons ago, when my oldest was around ten, he wanted to become a professional skateboarder. He innocently was trying to look up skateboards that were available online at Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Need I say more?
Let’s just say, skateboards did not come up in his little search.
It gave this mama a heart attack.
And, that’s how simple it is for the Internet to corrupt our children.
But, we can NOW be assured that our children are safe online with the technology of Torch. Torch is a WiFi Router with vigorous Internet Filtering that gives you the tools to protect your children from the negatives of the Internet. With using your existing internet service provider, the Torch is very easy to set up, even a non-techy mom like myself can set it up without an issue.
I was able to set up our Torch WiFi Router in a matter of minutes. I quickly created a profile for each child from the simple dashboard. I was able to filter out any websites that I didn’t approve of, such as YouTube and Facebook.
One of my favorite features of the Torch is that it allows me to pause the internet by profile, and set customizable bedtimes as appropriate for each child. I no longer have to tell my sweet children to turn off their devices; it takes care of the situation for me without me having to nag.
Hee Hee!
My twelve-year-old seriously had a meltdown when his iPad went off at 8:30 pm. He now calls the Torch, “The Monster”.
There’s also no limit to the number of children’s profiles you can create. Torch will work on up to 35 devices without affecting the network. We have a large family, so I appreciate this feature.
Torch is currently working on creating a mobile app, but for the time being their current dashboard can be viewed on any sized screen, on any device, on any network. This makes it simple for me to control my children’s Internet privileges on my phone if I’m not home.
Torch allows me to view where my kids browse online, their estimated screen time, and data usage. It’s a parent’s best friend.
Having Torch in our home has made me feel like I have so much more control over what my children are seeking on the Internet. It’s a life-saver for me. I’m a busy, single, work-at-home mom who needs as much help as I can get while raising my children and doing my best to keep them safe.

I really like being able to pause the internet.
Pausing the internet! I/WE need this!
I love that it works with up to 35 devices. We have a large family so this is a great feature.
Sounds like it would keep my grandkids safe too.
I like the time management feature because it can pause the internet by profile or by all and I can customize it. I also love the safety features.
I love this idea…
I have a 13-year-old who uses the computer for a variety of homeschool projects. I am more concerned with him inadvertently giving away personal information than with his surfing, so I love the idea of customizing the filter for each child’s profile. Thank you!
Customizable bedtimes!
I have very innocent children and would like to help them stay that way in a world that doesn’t care if they do or don’t. The fact that I can use the torch to filter content speaks volumes to me. I was just discussing this the other day with numerous parents on facebook and my neighbors.
I like seeing what they are all doing on my computer:)
This would be wonderful at our house; we have already had some ‘issues’ of unwanted and unwelcome web sites popping up while our young one was online. Thank you for sharing this information, and for the giveaway.
I am impressed by the parental controls and time limit. I am not home at night so I need something to help me keep them safe when they are babysitting.
I like ALL the custom features. I’m concerned how an innocent search could turn up inappropriate content.
This would be great to win.
I have an 8 year old. He wants to search mindkraft things on the computer. I need a filter to help me keep him safe.
Customizing profiles for each kid is a huge plus! This sounds like something we need at our house.
I like the device shutting down kids devices… no arguments to mom!
I like that it will block websites you don’t want your children on. Thanks!
Great giveaway! Thank you!!
I love the added layer of security this provides. We parents still need to be vigilant but every aid that helps security is a plus.
I like that I can block bad content and see browsing history.
I love that I can see what they are browsing and turn it off without taking away the advice.
I like that you can the browsing history and can block sites, as I know I looked up a song on youtube a while ago and up came the song I wanted with recommended songs that were not appropriate songs.
Filtering and time limits are both great.
I like that I can filter websites.
I like the blocking of bad content. My girls are young now, so I’m able to ‘turn them off’ myself…but years to come, THAT will be a great aspect, too!
This looks awesome! Definitely need this in our home!
This looks awesome! Definitely need this in our home!
I like the idea of having multiple devices and being able to set a bedtime to turn access off. 🙂
How do you think this compares to the Disney Circle? I have one of those and love it ….. which means my kids hate it!
I wish something like this was accessible to anyone who needed it and that all parents knew about it.
The fact that I can customize internet time….a plus!!!
Sounds great for blocking inappropriate content.
The “insight” feature would be a wonderful way to start with it. It would allow me to see each child’s viewing habits and then I’d be using the next feature, “time management” if there was time abuse of technology privileges. Great product!
I like that a non-tech mom can understand it. I also like how you can set up different profiles.
I love the Pause feature
Jo Jo
With today’s technology and kids knowing how to work the internet better than me……I am so happy to hear about this device called the Torch, which can help minimize my internet worries!! ; )
I love that you can customize it and not have to remember to constantly check it to make sure the kids are safe!
I like that you can have a lot of profiles which is great for large families.
I have 3 kids, all under the age of 10, and I love that I would be able to customize Each child’s settings according to their age and bedtimes. My middle son is restless sometimes and would wake up in the middle of the night to sneak the iPad and play games. I so excited that torch would eliminate the ability. Glory to God!
I like the protection it offers my children.
I love that it can shut off devices as a set time
This looks like a wonderful device to help keep young ones safe and control internet usage! We’ve had issues both with unwanted search results and controlling excessive internet usage.
Parental controls sound great in being able to control when and how long my son can be on the internet.
I love that it works with up to 35 devices.
Inline the timer and the amount of profiles one can set up.
I like that the Torch allows parents to choose the option that works best for each child and that it’s not a one size fits all type of product.
