A butterfly represents deep and powerful representations of life. Many cultures associate the butterfly with our souls. The Christian religion sees the butterfly as a symbol of resurrection. Around the world, people view the butterfly as representing endurance, change, hope, and life.
There’s something about a butterfly that just brings peace to many. It’s fascinating for children to actually see the life cycle of a butterfly. What better way to enhance the lesson with a few butterfly crafts for kids to add to the excitement of watching the cocoons turn into beautiful butterflies?
My children had so much fun simply coloring these beautiful butterfly coloring pages. In fact, I even joined in the coloring fun. Adult coloring is the new relaxation. It’s also something I can do with my children. We have had so in depth conversation while coloring.
