Busy week, but exciting. I am having a girl’s weekend with my ancient High School friends. lol! We are going to the Journey/Foreigner concert. Can you tell, I am bit anxious?
My crock pot is my dear friend again this week! Not eating the healthiest, but grateful we are cleaning out our freezer.
Monday ~ Chicken and dumplings and sauteed Swiss chard
Tuesday ~ Tator Tot Casserole, salad, and apples with cinnamon
Wednesday ~ Black Bean Chicken, brown rice, and broccoli
Thursday ~ Taco Soup and chips and salsa
Friday ~ Pizza Night

I’ve just started meal planning recently. Since I was laid off from my part-time job a couple of weeks ago, I have to be more careful knowing exactly where our money is going. It’s been great to help stick with a budget, not buy anything wasteful, and we’re eating better than ever. Wish I had done it a long time ago!
I let the kids each have one night to pick something, including a vegetable, which helps with my picky eater. Nobody can complain about her meal, so she can’t complain about anybody else’s.
