Our free range chickens are hatching us fresh eggs daily now. The boys were surprised to wake up to find 2 medium size eggs last week. We weren’t expecting any eggs until the end of the month. We are so excited! If you ever had fresh farm eggs then you can appreciate our excitement. If not, well, your missing out.
My sister has chickens and they sure can be a lot of fun!
I’ve never had fresh eggs but can imagine I’d be really excited, too!
Yum! I remember our first eggs. Then the stray dogs got the chickens. 🙁 Are you fencing them in somewhere at night? Paige is going to be working with Pete on their coop soon. Christian bought his rabbits today. One got pregnant before we drove off!
James built 2 chicken condos. They are put up in the evenings. Maybe they were not old enough to be free range yet.
Your a nicer mom than me. Allergics to rabbits. lol
Love your produce… Have a great WW!!

Awesome!! We have chickens too and I never tire of checking the nesting boxes and finding eggs. 🙂
Love the eggs and your site! Happy Wordless Wednesday!
We need to chat about this. My youngest son has been wanting us to get some chickens. After seeing my neighbor’s chickens running around in the mornings, I’ve started to want some now. I have zero experience in this area so I would need to pick your brain first.
We are getting chickens next year. I can’t wait!!!! Visiting from Wordless Wednesday.

Stoppin’ by from Fresh Eggs Daily…but I see you do the Hip Homeschool Hop too! We’re homeschoolers with chickens too! In fact, we incubated eggs last spring for SCIENCE and now have 7 hens about 6 months old! LOL We’re lovin’ it!
