Finally, a week where we are staying home a few days. Yippee! I enjoy staying home and being the mommy and domestic engineer that God intends for me to be.
Bible/Devotion ~ I will be continuing my bible reading plan and waking up before the boys to get my special time in with the Lord. It makes my day so much brighter.
Places I gotta do ~ Homeschool co-op, attend Dobbies speech annual, Homeschool Pot Luck, and of course, church.
Things I gotta do ~ work on my Zone 2 ~ didn’t do this past week, finish washing all of the Fall clothes, and complete my Home Blessing Tuesday chores, start on Christmas presents, and finish my last clipboard.
Train ‘Em Up ~ continue to work on If then chart, our new charactar trait study on Patience and start implementing our Fruit of the Spirit chart. Also, I want to really practice the Charlotte Mason habits into our homeschool. I want the afternoons to be free for handi-works or playing outside. Our memory verse this weeks is…
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. Romans 12:12
Menu Planning ~ Once again, I didn’t get to all my meals last week so I will be making some of them this week. See earlier post.
Have a blessed week ~ Count your blessings!!! Visit Tiany with lots of encouraging thoughts on how to get all your stuff done this week.
I think it is wonderful that you have a week to stay home for a few days. And we all need the character training in patience–well, at least I do! Your menu looks great too. Hope you have a wonderful, productive week.
I love those slower weeks. We have been having some of those “not running everywhere” weeks. Enjoy your week!!
I’m going to start doing this bible reading plan! Just something to get me motivated again.lol. Visit my blog, I have ANOTHER award for you! It’s a cute one, too! :o)
Blessings,
Julie
