How it Worked for My Son

My son has been doing very well in the intermediate algebra course. He usually completes a section per day except when a section is rather long.

He works out the problems on a piece of scrap paper and plugs in his answer into the answer box.

On several occasions his answer was marked wrong when indeed it was correct. There appears to be some glitch in the software program. The program would state his answer was wrong, but showed the correct answer being the same as my sons. This was very frustrating to my son. However, it only happened a few times. The software program itself is very primitive in nature. I believe by upgraded to a more sophisticated software program and website would be more pleasing to the eye and perhaps would be a more popular high school math curriculum among the homeschool community.

By working on the problem step by step until his solution was correct was a huge benefit to my son. He really appreciated the mastery approach to the Math 911 software.
