This is more of a suggestion than a works for me. May I suggest that you add a recovering soldier to your Christmas card list this. Our brave soldiers would love to have a Christmas card to open to show our appreciation. Just imagine if everyone WFMW participate sent a card and forwarded this suggestion on to just one other….and so on… What a simple gesture that we can do ~ We just might make one particular soldier smile and realize that he/she is appreciated. Please pass this along ~ either by email or just simply link back to this post.

Have a blessed Christmas!
Also, on a lighter note. I will be hosting ~ or should I say trying ~ Super Saturday Link/Post on this blog. Participants can list their favorite post or links that inspired them. It could be just one or several. See my previous Saturday post for an example. So please link back at Tonsofsons on Saturday. I am having mr linky trouble posting on my wordpress blog. Any help would be appreciative.
What a great idea! We’ll definitely do this! đ
Thanks for this addy – I’ll be addressing one today!
Hi,
I found your link via Rocks in my Dryer.
I know it sounds like a great idea, but the post office will not deliver any card/package to any soldier without it being specifically addressed to them. This has been confirmed by snopes.com as well as the USPS. It’s a threat to soldiers, as someone wanting to harm a soldier may send something hazardous.
Perhaps a better idea would be to ask around friends/family/church to see if they have any servicemen/women overseas and send directly to them.

Yeah, I saw in the news that all such mail will not be delivered. đ
