The whole month of December is considered the Christmas countdown of the miraculous birth of Jesus Christ.
Each night before the little ones go to bed, one of them picks a wrapped Christmas book that is under the Christmas tree. It’s a HUGE deal to pick out and unwrap the story book for the evening.
If you don’t have 24 Christmas books, go to the library or a Thrift Store.
On December 1st, I place 24 wrapped Christmas books under the tree. Feel free to borrow from the library if you do not own 24 Christmas books.
And on Christmas Day we read the best book of them all! The Holy Bible, Luke 2!
This is a great idea! Maybe I can get over my dread of wrapping gifts to make this fun for my son. The books and movies are out, but I could wrap early this week. Thanks for sharing!
