Tired of the same old A B C s songs for kindergarten or your preschool homeschool child?
W is for Wapiti! An Alphabet Songbook is a FUN storybook that will take your child on an amazing music journey while learning the A B C s. The storybook is filled with beautiful watercolor illustrations that captures the homeschool child’s attention.
W is for Wapiti! An Alphabet Songbook is geared toward entertaining children ranging from 3-7 years. It was a bit over my 2 year old’s mind, but she enjoyed listening and dancing to the cd. She was a hoot!
The 24 catchy songs are played by talented musicians using an array of instruments, such as,the xylophone, the glockenspiel, and the pedal steel guitar. There are cute jingles for each letter of the alphabet.
W is for Wapiti! An Alphabet Songbook for yourself!
I told ya, it’s very catchy, huh?
How It Worked for Us
My kindergartner is currently learning his A B C s and learns a new letter every other day. Each day after we lunch, we read the specified letter of the day. Meeting the new character each day was exciting for him. Also, we sing the entire unique A B C s kindergarten song, Let’s Sing It Again, that is the last song on the CD to help reinforce the letter and sounds.
My 7 year old actually found this book to be very entertaining. He already knows how to read, so following along with jingles while reading along was a big hit for him. Several times I caught him turning on the CD and dancing with his younger siblings. It was great listening to the songs in the car, too.
I found W is for Wapiti! An Alphabet Songbook absolutely adorable and entertaining! I loved the mixture of rock, pop, world, and folk music. It’s a FUN change from the same old A B C s songs for kindergarten and preschoolers. The songbook has a bit of humor in it that made us all crack up.
