Memory Verse: Romans 10:17 – So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Intro: America’s Favorite Dessert J-E-L-L-O – What we read affects what we believe. When we feed the Scriptures in our spirit, faith comes alive and becomes a living force within you.
Assignment: Write about your favorite ‘faith food’. Tell about the books of the Bible that you read that help to build your faith. Nurture the seeds of faith inside you. ex: Acorns become Oak trees.
I have faith that all marriages can be restored if we love the way God commands us to in His Word as in ICor 13.
This week I am committed to reading ICor 13 everyday. This weeks lesson on Sunday was dedicated to marriage and what God really thinks about it. WOW! It’s a far cry from what the secular world portrays as what the duties as man and wife should consist of. I strongly believe that the issues and the disappearing/or lack of Godly standards of morals in this nation is due to the diminishing of Godly marital relationships in the home. The divorce rate is 50% among all married couples, this includes Christians. There is hope for all marriages, regardless of what bondage is holding your marriage captive . And I mean every type of bondage ~ lying, deceitfulness, infidelity, lack of love, and the list goes on. However, ignoring the situation and settling for mediocre is not an option for restoration in the marriage category. To put it bluntly, if you are not willing to humble yourself, fully commit, and to let God work within your marriage then continue to live in bondage in what God designed as a beautiful thing, marriage and family.
Please listen to Randy’s sermon here. God really spoke through Randy, our pastor, this Sunday. His lesson is for not just for married couples struggling, but for all marriages in general. We have been prayerfully seeking God to restore all marriages in general in our small group each week. I would be honored and delighted to add your marriage and/or any marriage that needs to seek God’s guidance. You can leave me a comment or email me privately at [email protected]. Your request can be general or specific. You don’t have to leave your name if you don’t feel comfortable. God will know who you are when we seek in prayer.
My dh and I have recognized our faults as being one. We have issues to work on. However, we are committed to have an imitate and Godly relationship. We know we can not do it without Him. He is our pilot.
I want to recommend all couples to go and see Fireproof. It was so encouraging. It is a must see for everyone. Encourage your spouse to go with you even if you detest one another. Look on the bright side, you don’t have to spark a interesting conversation at the movies. If you can’t get your spouse to attend then go by yourself or with a friend and pick up the recommended book, Love to Dare, that has changed so many marriages.
May God bless all marriages, including mine and yours.
I have faith that all marriages can be restored if at least one of us is willing to humble ourselves and allow God do His work.
This is wonderful, thank you!!! I listened to the sermons online and really enjoyed them. Thank you so much for opening yourself to pray with people about their marriages and for sharing all this information with us all.

My new favorite movie of all times! We spend hours watching the trailers and movie clips on YouTube. We have the two main songs favorited and play them too.
