If you are a tea lover than you will fall in love with these simple sweet tea popsicles. They are so refreshing on a hot summer day.
I always use decaffeinated tea bags, so my kids aren’t up all night, but feel free to use your favorite type of tea.
I absolutely adore my electric tea kettle. We use it almost everyday, especially in the Winter months.
How To Make Sweet Tea Popsicles
Ingredients
- 2 cups of water
- 1 or 2 tea bags (I use the Family size)
- 1 c of sugar (I use Stevia)
- Lemon juice (optional)
- Ice (handful)
Directions
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat and pour over tea bag. Brew for 10-15 minutes. Add sugar, stir until dissolved. Next, add lemon juice. Add some ice and stir until melted. Pour sweet tea into popsicle molds and freeze.
TIP: Let popsicles sit on the counter for a few minutes before popping the popsicles out of the molds to avoid breakage.
So simple, but refreshing sweet tea popsicles are a favorite during the hot summer months here in the south.
