I would easily bypass the dinner and just snack on appetizers and wine. I just love to invite over friends and family and visit over snacks and small talk.
This easy bacon cheddar dip is the bomb! It’s one of my favorite dips to make especially during football season.
But then again, anything with bacon is awesome in my book. This simple bacon cheddar dip has a mouthful of flavor in every bite. I like to serve it with crackers, preferably Wheat Thins.
I love the crunch of the silvered almonds and the next time I make this bacon cheddar dip, I want to substitute the almonds for pine nuts.
I think it’s better the longer you leave it in the refrigerator. It would be awesome as a spread, too.
Easy Bacon Cheddar Dip
Bacon Cheddar Dip
You can make this ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator.
Ingredients
- 4-5 green onions finely diced
- 8 oz cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 1/2 c mayonaise I used the kind with olive oil
- 1/2 c real bacon bits
- 1/2-3/4 c almonds slivered
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together.
Store in refrigerator for 3 hours or until ready to serve.
Unfortunately, I never have any leftover. It’s a crowd pleaser to say the very least.
