This month I am seeking through the book, Luke,  in 26 days with my  friends over at Mom’s Toolbox.  Won’t you join us?

Check out this weeks  schedule here.   I won’t be posting my thoughts everyday, but  will share my heart as time permits.

During this challenging study of Luke, I will be utilizing the SOAP devotional method.  New to this method?  Click here.

SCRIPTURE

For nothing will be impossible for with God.”  And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord: let it be to me according to your word.”  And the angel departed from her.  Luke1:37

OBSERVATION

Faith beyond my comprehension stirs in the heart of Mary.  She must have had a deep intimate relationship with her God.  Her desire was to serve her master regardless of the gossip that would arise amongst her.  And I am sure there was plenty.  She desired to be  His servant.

APPLICATION

By spending time in His Word and prayer daily, my relationship with my Heavenly Father will flourish.  I will continue to learn to trust Him in all circumstances regardless of what this secular world may speak.

I want to be His servant.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father:

May earnest prayer today is to have faith beyond measure and a heart like Mary.  Lord, please help me to not lean on my understanding, but to listen to your Spirit.  May your Word speak to me.

I wholeheartedly desire to be your servantUse me to glorify you in all things.

Amen.

I still am in awe of the miraculous birth.  So exciting to me.

And how does Mary speak to your heart?
