I love finding and making Homemade Popsicle Recipes for my family and me. Finding Healthy Popsicle recipes is a much better alternative than buying the popsicles that are loaded with sugar.
How to Make Popsicles at Home
You will need to purchase a popsicle mold along with popsicle sticks. I have found a few popsicle molds at Walmart, but none that used the standard popsicle sticks. Those work fine if I’m eating a homemade popsicle myself, but I usually make my kids eat their healthy popsicles outside. Using the wooded popsicle sticks allows my children to easily throw them out in the garbage container located in the garage. It’s simply a convenient thing for me. I can’t tell you how many times we have lost those reusable sticks that come with the reusable popsicle molds.
I suggest you teach your children how to make them, so you don’t have to worry about whipping them up yourself. I use homemade popsicle recipes as a treat for my children. In order to get a popsicle after dinner, they must have cleaned their room before supper is served, and they must have eaten their dinner to my satisfaction.
Yep, I’m one of those mean moms.
