My children had so much fun playing with this EASY how to make snow recipe!
They played with it for over an hour and then we saved it for later. We just stored it in a plastic baggie.
However, it does make a mess. We just draped one of those cheap plastic table clothes that you buy at the dollar store over the table. The mess was simple to clean up.
You truly won’t believe how soft the snow feels. It almost feels like silk due to the baby oil. The best part is that it only requires 3 ingredients. If you have little ones, you can substitute the baby oil for vegetable oil in case they might put it in their mouths.
How to Make Snow Recipe
- 2 c of corn starch or corn flour
- 1/2 c baby oil
- silver glitter
Mix all the ingredients together. Store in a zip lock bag.
I bought some blue and silver plastic snowflakes at the craft store and added the silver glitter to make it a Frozen version. You can be very creative and use anything to make it festive.
I truly enjoyed playing with it myself. It was almost as fun as our glow in the dark slime. I enjoy sensory activities as much as my little ones.
