Verbs can be tricky for children. So why not make learning verb tenses a FUN hands-on activity? All children love to cut and paste, right?

My second grader is working on learning verbs and he needed a little extra practice with verb tenses, so I hopped on my computer and made him a few worksheets about verbs.

You can laminate the pages to make it more of a game for learning centers. My child cut out all the verbs and mixed them up. He glued each verb under the correct tense. There are enough verbs to cover all three of the worksheets.

It’s a fun hand-on activity that kept him busy while my older child was working on his spelling pretest.
