Make cheesy biscuits with any meal and you can guarantee they will be a hit. However, I can never eat just one.
Last week, I shared with you our favorite seasoned saltines cracker recipe, so this week I thought you might enjoy our so easy cheesy biscuits that ranks right up there with those addicting crackers.
You can whip them up in minutes and they use staples that you probably already have in your kitchen.
They are especially tasty with soup.
Make Cheesy Biscuits
(I always freeze half of them in a gallon size ziplock baggie)
- 4 c of Bisquick or off brand
- 1 c of shredded cheddar cheese (or use what suits your fancy)
- 1 1/3 c of milk
- 1/2 c of butter, melted in microwave
- 1/2 t of garlic powder
- 1/3 t of red pepper flakes (optional)
Mix together Bisquick, cheese, and milk in large bowl until a dough forms, and beat with mixer for one minute. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Next, whisk garlic and butter together in small bowl. Baste butter mixture over biscuits.
This makes about 3 dozen biscuits.
It doesn’t get much easier than this, does it?
Make cheesy biscuits and freeze the leftovers for your next meal! You will love how easy they are too!
