Thanks Tiany for hosting Monday Meandering. It’s so inspiring to see what other homemakers are tackling during this busy joyous season.
Bible/Devotion ~ I am working on my 21 day challenge to read Romans 4.
Places I gotta go ~ homeschool co-op, Bunko, Keno, take boys to dr for check-ups, attend a Christmas live nativity at a neighborhood church, and take boys to play practice.
Things I need to work on ~ sewing our Christmas stockings, figuring out somehow to email our cards, and planning our Christmas dinner, and just enjoying the anticipation of the miraculous birth of Jesus.
Cleaning ~ I will be cleaning my whole house this week because my parents are coming, cleaning the library, and washing all the sheets.
Train em up ~ We started our advent celebration yesterday. We are reading Jothams’s Journey each evening, lighting our advent wreath, eating by candle light, and reading our Christmas books. The candle light dinner and the Christmas book reading was a huge hit. We also will be using some of these ideas while reading Jotham’s Journey.
Our bible study during the day will consist of reading the prohesises of the Messiah and the little ones will be coloring during the study. They can make an advent notebook. I combined two advent studies together.
We also will be making haystacks this week for our Christmas play.
On my bookshelf ~ I am reading the most wonderful book Living a Beautiful Life. It has over 500 tips/ideas to make your daily life simply beautiful.
Prayer Request ~ Please pray for all the families that have lost loved ones this year. This is a difficult time for so many. Pray they feel peace.

That chicken stroganoff sure caught my eye, I think we’ll have to give that try very soon.
I didn’t post a menu plan this week, but I’m enjoying looking at everyone else’s!
