I was in the mood for a HOT bath because Fall is my favorite time of year!
A hot bath is my favorite escape relaxation technique that I look forward to each evening.
I absolutely love anything pumpkin! A few years ago, I had some pumpkin smelly lotion stuff that was wonderful.
I decided to make my own pumpkin diy body scrub. It smells exactly like pumpkin pie. And if you are really hungry, I guess you could eat this scrumptious body scrub because it’s actually edible as far as the ingredients go.
How to Make Pumpkin DIY Body Scrub
Ingredients
- 1/2 c of pumpkin puree (makes sure it’s a 100% pumpkin)
- 1/2 c of brown sugar
- 2 T of coconut or olive oil
- 1 T of cinnamon or more depending on your preference
Directions
In a small bowl mix all ingredients together, but add cinnamon last. Store in a glass jar and go enjoy a luxurious hot bath.
For best results with any type of body scrub, soak in hot tub for about 10 minutes, drain water except for a few inches. Use a towel to dry off the best you can. Spread diy body scrub on parts of your body and let it dry for about 20 minutes. Carefully, brush off sugar and it will remove your dead skin cells. Rinse off with water.
It’s always more enjoyable if you have a candle glowing that makes you happy. And don’t forget to lock the door!

Could I include the link to this recipe in an article I am writing? I’m a freelance writer & would much rather push views your wsy rather than some conglomerate. I found the recipe, and you, via Pinterest. I am afraid I am on dead line so this is time sensitive. Thank you & you have a lovely site.
If i make this for gifts how long is the shelf life? It sounds wonderful.
I made mine 2 months ago and it’s fine. I would say 2 months or more.
Do you refrigerate this for storage?
