Outside my window…  It is still smoldering hot here in the south.  I’m thinking my neighbors across the way really need to consider taking down their Christmas lights on their front gate.  But then again,  Christmas will be here before you know it.

I am thinking…  that our Blueberry Steel Cut Oat cereal was really good this morning.

I am thankful…for God’s provision in my life, fellowship with old and new friends, and that my dh job enables me to stay home with my 5 ds and The Princess.

From the learning rooms..We are working on Wisdom Book 3 and the boys are working on completing their History project on Music.

In the kitchen…made candied ginger this week.  I used succant instead of white sugar.  Not as pretty, but healthier

I am wearing…my blogging clothes pj’s

I am creating…my 4th Christmas afghan using Victorian Christmas colors

I am going…to go to a Mamas Write mini conference tomorrow with a friend

I am wondering…why exercising is such a challenge for me

I am reading…For Women Only and studying 1Corinthians

I am praying…for rain, rain, and some more rain

I am looking forward to…to a girls weekend with my High School friends.  We haven’t seen each other since High School.  So, so excited!

I am hearing…My children laughing at the breakfast table

Around the house…catching up on the laundry which tends to be a challenge these days

I am pondering…the teachings of Paul through the Holy Spirit in 1Corinthians

One of my favorite things…is to practice the piano

A few plans for the rest of the week….going into town tonight for a few errands and going on a date with my favorite person
