I just love all of Elizabeth Georges’ books. They are so encouraging. So, I decided to give away the book Mom after God’s Own Heart. I just adore reading books that encourage moms in their chosen career to minister to our families. We often get frowned upon by many in this secular world. Please note… This book isn’t just for stay at home Moms. It is for any mommy that is striving to live a Godly life.
You can read more about this encouraging read full of Godly wisdom here.
My ds will be randomly picking a number on Saturday. The only rules that I stress is that you only leave one comment with a way I can reach you either by email or blog. Also, I would love for you to recommend any other encouraging Mother reads that have influenced you and filled your spirit with words of wisdom. This is optional!
Gotta run and try to win some of those wonderful prizes at Rocksinmydryer.
Sorry about not having a good mommy read to suggest…. but I’d love to win this for my wife to read 😉
The BEST mommy book I’ve read lately, hands down, is Passionate Housewives by Stacey McDonald and Jennie Chancey. It really encouraged me as a mother AND a wife!

This would be so nice to read. 🙂 The Power of Parent-child Play and The Promise of a Mother’s Prayers are two books I’m reading that are great so far. 🙂
Thanks for the giveaway. 🙂
I LOVE Elizabeth George’s books, too. I am not a mother, but would love to add this book to my library or give it away to one of the many moms I know. If you haven’t read them, Mary Pride’s “The Way Home” and “All The Way Home” are really good books. Thank you for the chance to win!
I read “Don’t Make Me Count To Three” and the companion “Wise Words for Moms”. They are both good discipline books!
Well, this is not just a Mommy read, but I enjoyed The Power of a Praying Parent by Stormie Omartin. I love Elizabeth George. I have not read one of her books yet that I did not enjoy.

I love my “10 Minute Time-Outs for Moms” devotional – some days that’s all I seem to have, and it never fails to speak a Word that I need to hear.
* I am reading “How to Keep Your Kids On Your Team” by Charles Stanley, and it has really opened my eyes to some changes I need to make as a mother.
* I have recently read “A Mom After God’s Own Heart”, so if I win, I will bless one of my friends with it!
* Thanks, Tami
