New York City always offers so many fascinating activities and entertainment opportunities. I must admit, I probably don’t find the city as glorious as most because I grew up in the New England States, and going to NYC was a norm. My grandparents lived in the city so we were able to spend many weekends with them there.

But I must confess that I had an absolutely outstanding and entertaining time visiting with my Swiffer Fanatic friends and catching up with the newest and greatest Swiffer products last month in New York City.

Most of you know that I am a busy single mom of many and cleaning is not always on the top of my To-Do list. Unfortunately, though, I get my panties in a wad when my house isn’t clean enough for even my dog, Levi. I adore and use Swiffer products because they make our cleaning job easy and effective. Yes, my kids are required to help me clean our home. 

I have the privilege of working with Swiffer again as an ambassador. I say privilege because I have great respect for this company that strives to meet the needs of everyday homeowners like me. Also, they are one of the few companies that actually listen to their consumer’s concerns and requests. One of the benefits of being an ambassador is that I’m informed of the latest Swiffer gossip including knowledge of their newest and improved products.

After we learned all of the new secrets that were igniting within the Swiffer clan, we had the luxury of taking part in four extraordinary Swiffer excursions to see how superb Swiffer could clean NYC.  I can’t begin to express how much fun we had and how much we giggled together. Swiffer continues to wine and dine us Swiffer Fanatics and allows us to experience activities when we are hanging out with their outgoing marketing team that I would have never dreamed of being able to do . 

The Good Housekeeping Excursion

Marked with the proud Good Housekeeping seal, Swiffer continues to be one of Good Housekeeping’s favorite brand. All the Swiffer Fanatics had a chance to see and visit all their high-quality labs where Good Housekeeping tests all the different products. It was truly fascinating to see the vast amount of devices that the scientists use to test and sample the products. I have a whole new positive view on the Good Housekeeping Magazine now. The building was truly amazing and the view of Central Park from the top floor was to-die-for. You must take a tour of the Good Housekeeping Institution next time you are in NYC . 

Dancing with The Rockettes Excursion

The Swiffer fanatics had a ball dancing with The Rockettes. The girls taught us a line dance and of course we used the Swiffer duster as our hand props. Oh, in case you didn’t know…I’m the girl who was off step in the white pants. Stop laughing, I do have other gifts and talents.

Cake Decorating Contest Excursion

The Swiffer Fanatics also broke off  into teams for a die-hard cake decorating contest at Carlo’s Bakery. It was exciting to be there in person and tour the bakery because The Cake Boss is actually filmed at that location. It should be no surprise that we used the Swiffer WetJet to clean up our cake mess. Carlo’s Bakery had the cleanest floors in the city when we were done.

NYC Foster Dogs Excursion

Did you know that Swiffer products are perfect for the animal lover?  It’s so easy to get rid of the unwanted hair and dirt from our little furry friends without going bonkers. We had fun bonding with the animals at a local animal shelter where they place foster dogs and cats with kind-hearted families. After we finished falling in love with those adorable friends, we used the Swiffer Sweeper to manage and pick up the loose pet hair. It was a simple sweep with no elbow grease needed. That’s my kind of clean up.
