Clean laminate wood floors makes this busy mama so very happy.

I’m a busy wife, mother, and school teacher.  Before I became a teacher, I homeschooled all my six children. 

Needless to say, life will always be busy for me especially during the entertaining seasons and the holidays.

I’m always looking for fast and easy hacks to help keep our home from not looking like a hairy vet clinic.  We adore our furry friends, but they have a tendency to bring in sandy dirt and their pet hair accumulates quickly on our laminate wood floors. Our cleaning method must be quick and effective so that my children can help with the maintenance of keeping our home from pet hair and dandruff.

The easiest and most effective way to clean laminate wood floors in our home is by utilizing my beloved Swiffer Sweeper and Swiffer WetJet.  I’ve tried every product on the market and absolutely give Swiffer five thumbs up for a quick and effective way to clean laminate wood floors. The other day in Petco, I noticed a big display of Swiffer products, so I’m not the only pet owner who loves Swiffer products. It’s so easy and fun to clean laminate wood floors that my children actually fight over who gets to clean the floors. Although our whole downstairs is laminate wood flooring, it only takes several minutes to get our floors looking sparkling clean.

How to clean laminate wood floors

First, start by placing a clean Swiffer Sweeper dry mop refill on your Swiffer Sweeper. It’s important to use a figure eight motion when sweeping with the Swiffer Sweeper due to the way the refills are designed. Yes, that’s one of the hacks and it’s what makes Swiffer products more effective than the off-brand. They actually have a patent for their products. 

Second, put a clean Swiffer Wet-Jet mop refill on your Swiffer Wet-Jet. Start in the corner of the room and work outwards and repeat with all four corners. Be sure to wear socks to avoid footprints. 

Using Swiffer Dusters is my absolute favorite way to clean up all the dog hair and dust with ease. It’s so simple and takes half the time than other dusting methods. I admit, I’m addicted to these babies. I use them everywhere, especially in my classroom.

And cleaning our ceiling fans has never been easier.
