Do you even know what the US Founding Fathers founded this country on?
All Americans need to add to their family’s bookshelves, What Would the Founding Father’s Think?
History, politics, government—they’re not just for grown-ups anymore. Today’s teens are about to be handed a collapsing nation and it’ll be their job to fix it.
Scary, but TRUE!
Enter David Bowman.
With wit, humor, and the occasional serious note, he skillfully illustrates America’s biggest problems and presents an interactive guide to understanding them that’s so much fun adults will want to read it too!
A little about the witty and clever, David Bowman, the author:
- As a Christian and as a patriot, David Bowman glorifies his Savior and his nation through his fine art, his books, and his motivational speaking
- David also writes and illustrates a variety of books for young audiences. Combining his cartooning skills and his experience teaching at a high school level, David knows how to engage kids, pre-teens, and teens with books that are both entertaining and enlightening
- David loves to teach! He speaks to youth groups on religious and political topics all over the country
- David and his wife, Natalie, live in the mountains of Arizona with their four children
We are excited to read What the Founding Father’s Would Think? during our Family Nights. The conversation discussions I am sure will be endless. It is imperative to our family that they author writes from a biblical standpoint when it comes to history and politics.

I would read this with my family. We discuss this topic all the time! It is so frustrating knowing how many people died for this nation to be a Godly one yet today it’s hard to believe we ever were a Godly nation in the first place!
We would enjoy this book to read aloud as a family.
Thanks,
Our homeschool coop is teaching history based on the book the 5000 Year Leap. However, it tends to be a tad advanced for our younger students. This book looks like it might be just the thing for our younger classes.
I would share this book with my five kids. It looks so good and it is critical that the next generation to govern this nation be well-informed, critical thinkers. This looks like a great tool!
This book would be great to go through with my kids. I really want them to know the truth and not what the media/world wants them to think!
This would be a perfect compliment to our studies on the founding of our Nation! We’re going to start 5000 Year Leap in January and would be great for our youngest! Thank you!
I would share this with my children and our homeschool group.
I would love to share this with my children in our homeschool! As there are so many parts of history being re-written (even by the current government), this is such a necessary resource!
This looks like a great resource! My entire family would enjoy it.
We would read this together during our daily homeschool activities –
I would share it with my grandchildren…one of which is homeschooled who, in turn would share it with her homeschool co-op group. I definitely would like to read it first before I share!
I would read this with my children. We have been studying on this quite a bit this year.
I have four kids to share this with, but I think my older son would really like it
This book sounds really interesting & much needed for a time such as this.
I’d love to win it. Merry CHRISTmas
I would share it with my daughter 🙂 We’re going to be starting a unmit on the founding fathers soon!
That looks so neat!! Something to share with my kids when they are a bit older!
Looks like a great book to share with a co-op class.
I’d share this book with my children!
We started homeschooling in Sept. 2012, after several months of the LORD began leading me towards bringing our youngest son home to school from the “worldly” school he was attending. I fought this idea hard, struggled through many trials, before finally giving in to His path for our family to bring our last child home to school. Of course the peace I felt was His peace only He can give, but then immediately afterwards my husband was laid off…..needless to say, we are using hand me downs that either are missing the teachers book or the students book, and also for 7th grade, my son was pulled out of 4th grade. But this would be a huge blessing to our new school!!! Thank you!!!
I would share this with my Dd and Hubster!
This looks like a terrific resource! Would love to use this in our homeschool!
This would work perfectly in our homeschool!

I would share it with my youngest brother, although I am sure my dad would love to read through it as well!
I’d share the book with my 2 teens and a friend and her teen – we do some of our homeschooling together and this would be great to share!

I would share this book with my husband and our children and from there, the world!
I would love to incorporate this into our homeschool. Have been desperately looking for a way to include a more Christian view into our American History curricula. I have been feeling that it is slanted away from a Christian perspective.
I would share this with our homeschool co-op because we are studying this topic right now!
Sounds like it would be a great book!! 🙂
My dear husband and I were just discussing how to start teaching our kids American History tonight! This could help:-)
