We made this so so cute basket of thanks last year and brought it to my parents house for the big Turkey Feast. As each guest arrived, we had them write their blessings on a leaf and put it back in the basket. When it was time for the blessing, we passed out one to each. Each person read a leaf and then we had to guess whose it was. Oh ~ we already had the names on the leaves. It was a big hit. Now, I have to find something as creative and fun as last year. We thought about doing something like this last year but couldn’t come up with a cute way to present it. This is adorable!
Thanks for the great idea. We are hosting Thanksgiving for the first time and this will keep little hands busy while the adults visit and prepare for dinner.
This is a great idea! I have been looking for Thanksgiving traditions for our house and I am going to add this to my list. Thank you!
I am loving all of your holiday tips and ideas, Jill! Thanks! :o)

Very nice tradition to start!!!
What a lovely idea.
It must have been a lot of fun.
Have a great week.
I love it! How neat that it becomes a game of sorts for everyone to try to find out the author of the Thankful Leaf.
Last year the kids made turkeys and we wrote things for which they were thankful on each feather. We then put them up around the table.
This column format is so different, it’s fun seeing something that sets itself apart from the crowd.
