If you are like us, we love the library! Our library has a no-limit policy! YIPEE! We keep all of our library books in this big tub. We always know where those books are. Trying to keep up with 50+ library books can be overwhelming with 5 boys! We haven’t lost a book yet. I bought this tub at Dollar General for 5 bucks. Now, someday in my spare time (LOL) I might even decorate it with paint.
For more nifty-thrifty ideas see Rocksinmydryer.
Send some of that spare time my way if you ever find any! I need to get a couple of those tubs – very handy. Check & see if your name is still on the list at rocks in my dryer. She double posted & lost some of the links.
Good idea! When my kids were small, I had a small bookshelf dedicated to library books. Now they are old enough to keep them in their rooms..guess what? Now they have library fines! They get to pay for them out of their own pockets, but we may have to go back to the “library book shelf” plan.
I am a library addict (really and truly!) so I am with you on this one. I have a basket for my books and then a dishwashing tub for my sons. He can tote them wherever he wants and then I know how to do the counting of just his book and just my books. We check out A LOT of stuff around here!
Thats a great idea! I have been keeping our library slip (it is a list of all the books we’ve checked out) on the bulletin board. When we get ready to return our books we just go down the list and check off all the books to make sure they’re all there.
We keep ours on a special book shelf, but your idea is great!!
Library books get lost in my home
I’m always returning them late
Thanks for the tip
It will sure come in handy
I just hope my son takes the bait!
Our library limit is 200 and I have come close during the school year. I have a designated area too. We love the library here.
