winterreading1pngsk91.pngI was sick with the achy flu and was in bed all day last weekend.  I would read a chapter and fall asleep, repeat, repeat…….  I ended up reading the entire short but sweet book Treasuring God in our Traditions by Noel Piper.  This book had many great ideas, recipes, and inspiring thoughts in guiding our families to a God-centered home life.  This is high on my list of priorities in training my tons of sons.  It is a wonderful book full of good christian food for the soul.  I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Also, I just adored The Apron Book.  I just can’t wait to make a few aprons for myself.  In fact, I want a a different one for everyday.  And of course,  I have to have holiday/seasonal ones, too.  There are so many sweet and touching stories in this colorful, warm book full of sweet memories of others.  It just made me smile and fall more in love with the apron.  It makes a beautiful coffee table book.

I am going to tweak my Winter Reading List a bit, so check out my revised list.   If you read one of these two books, let me know….
